Back to the topic (sorry!), I wonder how this news will translate in the polls, I'm sure this could turn quite a few "undecided voters" toward Obama.

Watching the 'Situation Room' that is how they read it. This endorsement will go a long way in reassuring those who question Obama's 'commander-in-chief' abilities that hey, "if a respected General gives him the nod' - well, he can't be that too shabby. I think Powell gives a pretty good rational for his endorsement - but what else would you expect from a credited General
