I thought for the most part it was fun, especially point nine. But when I got to eleven you lost my vote. A loyalty oath to me is totalitarian, and I'll fight you tooth and nail.
I know, I know, it was all meant in fun. But them's my opinions and I'm stickin' with 'em. ![]()

Steve,
I rhink he was referreing to the old Pledge of Alliegence like we had in school back when. I remember it quite well in Detroit, and when we moved to Colorado, it wasn't a requirement to start the school day. It was a bit of a shock to me to not have it as part of the daily drill. Although if one recites the Pledge of Alliegence, where it says "to the flag" makes no sense. It should say "to the Constitution", as that does make sense. Just like the oath of office to uphold, protect, and defend the Constitution. But on that alone we could impeach just about every official in office right now. Hey Subman1, add something in there about tearin' down the fractional banking system we have so we can actually pay our debts off, and restore us to the precious metal standards so our money has true value again, and you may get a real vote there buddy!

I liked it, even if it was a little contradictory - no imports/exports, then exporting wheat at the same price as oil?
hehheh what a list. it's nice to wish sometimes, even for just some similarities to that down here. some, not all ![]() |
