It IS a powerful message. It proves that, for the most part, we Americans do mean well. Problem is the day that veteran realises that 'democracy and freedom' does not guarrantee 'pro USA'. Will he feel it was a mistake if the 'newly free' Iraqis fill the streets chanting DEATH to America! and burning our flag minutes after our military leaves? Will he feel that the sacrifices he and his fellow service people made were worth it then? I wonder......

I hope I am wrong about that end result. I really am. But as much as I have loathed George Bush and his administration these last 8 years if a foreign army entered this country to remove him from office by force this liberal would be planting roadside bombs not cheering in the streets. Bush is no Saddam, however how can I expect a typical Iraqi to feel any different?

I offer my sincerest apologies to the veteran in the video and all of his comrades. I am sorry. I knew invading Iraq was a mistake. I knew it before it happened and I failed, as a fellow American, to stop it.

As a veteran I'd say yes. Mainly because they now have the freedom of speech and can say anything they want without oppression. Mission accomplished.

My interest right now are far and few in between on this board, thoug I will be by, maybe even daily since some of you here are pretty cool people. I have more pressing concerns however than toiling with the liberal rat pack of some subsim members these days. No offense of course, though I could care less what the far left here thinks right now, if you haven't noticed my lack of interest in responding to them lately.

The rule right now is - post and let that post take its course. I see a lot of the left seems to keep tripping over itself though to patch the holes I expose. Quite funny!

Don't expect me to post untruths though, and don't expect me to outright attack anyone. I will of course continue to keep my cards close but I will show some respect to fellow members. Some will still have problems denying reality, and I understand that. Its a given for some.

'It is what it is', as they say. And with that, you may notice my post count dropping dramatically from now to the future.

They can say anything they want without oppression?????

You really believe that???

So that's why we have to move every one of them who helped us out of Iraq before they and their families are killed???

Mission accomplished??? We cut off the head of one cobra and spawned 500 new ones.
