Yes only bearing I agree. UZOs where simple bearing line transmitters, nothing else. There must be an input for AOB somewhere
![]() In any case, the preferred form of attack for S-Boats and U-Boats was at right angles to target course, because that way your silhouette is smaller, the target broadside is exposed and the distance matters less, due to the small parallax.

It also mentions the hand-wheels, could those be the hand wheels for speed and range?
(I know very little about U-boats in general, I like warmer water ![]() Interesting picture none the less. |
