I suspect that that area will dry up as the Japanese lose ground in the south-central Pacific. On my last cruise I picked up a ton of contact reports in the East China Sea. Seems to be a pretty busy route running roughly from the Formosa Strait to Tsushima Strait, and it's like to remain open for most of the war
