Til today i used winrar 3.71 to unzip everything for sh3/sh4 using vista 64bit. Since i began to modify the stock games with those exiting mods i was shaken by unexplainable bugs, glitches, CTDs etc.

I had as usually issues with adding new available mods. Then i made due to being nerved and unconcentrated a new approach to fix it using 7 zip accidently not winrar and ...... I couldnt believe it , all those glitches were gone !

Exited by it i dumped my existing installations and reinstalled them from scratch using 7 zip and the downloaded compressed files. Im powerplaying NYGM and GWX on seperate puters for 3 hrs now and havnt encountered any of the previous anomalies so far.

I strongly recommend to everyone using the same OS to redo their installation this way. .... but i wont take any responsibility if u screw up of cause
I'm a vista 64 user. The only problem I have with sh3 is black artifacts blinking all over the sky from time to time, specially on the horizon, but I didn't uncompressed anything WITH vista 64, I've just copied the game and all its mods from the old computer to the new one, not re-installing anything. Do you think it's worth a complete reinstall?
