Oops, did that from Hawaii to Midway. If you're not looking very hard, that straight line from one to the other may plow right into that tiny little island about 1/4 of the way to Midway. You don't see it if you're zoomed out too far. Yes, I found it at full speed and dug my way right up into the beach. Sound guy didn't appreciate my busting up his hydrophones, either. He just gave me a dirty look - I think he had the volume turned up full at the time.

Hrm... when I did it I got stuck for good! All back astern wouldent even budge it.

I considered waiting for the tide to come in when I realized uhhh there are none in the game :rotfl:

But if it makes you feel better this type of thing actually did happen in real life Ill try to find some linkage and edit it in.

I once scraped all the way down the side of the Truk subnet until I found a way out!

Yieeeeee <claps hands over ears> that musta been noisy !

By the way you should not have been able to get away with that cause the nets were designed to snag on any projection of the boat and WWII subs have a lot of projections.

I don't think I've ever ran into a subnet...hit a mine going in palalu once...damn thing killed half my crew
