Reagen was a former actor, I think that's what he was saying there.

And Subman wasn't asking for another actor, he was asking for another man with some integrity; one who was faithful.

@ Subman1: whoever said Reagan was a 'good' actor?:rotfl:

Yikes.

Either that's the lamest cover up contingency plan ever, or it's true and that gal is one hell of a sex kitten. lol
One ugly sex kitten. A sex dog might be better suited.

She's also 44, and, contrary to the old saying, pictures can indeed lie. In person she might just be animated, witty and extremely attractive.

Belle Starr looked like a sack of potatoes in her later years, but she still had men lining up to be her 'friend'.

As for Edwards, I think he's a sleezebag, but not for the affair.

Cheating on your wife is wrong, period.

With that said, the moral high horse of the voters in this country is laughable....and its priorities incredibly misguided.

sure it's wrong, but it happens every day with like half the people I know and other half of the other half is probably keeping it well secret. This is bad of course, but such is nature of life and Im SURE this happens much more regularly in high power places. If its not a campaign buddy then some 24 year old intern with big boobs. It's like... it just happens.

who cares? Washington is full of these clowns.
We just need a sane president, no matter if he cheats on his wife or not

sadly, I don't think that the fact that this scumbag cheated on his wife is what is upsetting people. It is that this scumbag was running on a political platform of family values and when this story first broke, he adopted, hypocritically, the stance of injured honour.

It is not the dishonourable act, but the hypocrisy that offends people.

On a personal note, I feel that this dishonour does have an influence in his eligibility to hold high office in my country.

A man who cheats on his wife is a man without honour. I prefer not to have dishonourable men (or women for that matter) holding high offices in my government.

I recognize that I am in a moral minority. From reports I understand that upwards to 70% of marriages involve cheating. However, I proudly place myself in the minority here. I also, sadly, recognize that it is difficult to find a politician who follows my personal standards of ethics.

Cheating on your spouse is a personal decision that everyone has to make. Some justify it, some ignore it, some are proud of it, and some even forgive it. I can do none of these.
