Is it a biger chance for the torpedo to explode befor it get to its target if you set its speed on fast? Feels like 30% explode befor they hit the target.
And one more thing. Do i get less reworn when i only play at 34% i only have like 1200 after 5 patrols. Not good enoth to play at hard yet ![]() |

If you're in mildly rough seas (7-8m) & all that you have is G7a's, you can use a magnetic fuse if you set the speed to slow; this will reduce the chance of premature detonation. This is assuming that you can't use an impact fuse because of a lousy attack angle.

Slow = 30 kts Medium = 40 kts Fast = 44 kts The "Medium" setting gives you a 25% speed increase, for a slight increase in risk of early detonation. The "Fast" setting only gives you a 10% speed increase over "Medium" for a much greater risk of losing the torpedo early. Thus, you should carefully assess whether the "Fast" setting is warranted, before using it. Also, the greater the distance, the more time the torpedo will be running... therefore, the greater chance of it going off early. Quote:
