Advice needed - unlucky or stupid?

Yes.
Getting killed by one hit at 120m is unlucky. I had a real horror a few day ago. After a successfull attack, I went as deep as posible (the see only 136m deep). I was depth charged for three hours (most of it in 1x time), seriously damaged with heavy flooding and send to the bottom 2 times (i was lucky there was a bottom at the time ). Somehow I managed to escape.
