SH3 Commander Medal Award Criteria

During the Norway invasion, I sailed along the Norway coast hopeing to give my fellows some support. In an extremly nasty weather, all I could find is a bunch of German ships.

Finally I encountered 2 armed trawlers (better than nothing). Fired 4 eels, but they passed right below their keels, as the trawlers were jumping on high waves.
A few days later I stumbled upon 4 destroyers steaming towards Narvik at 36 kts. I fired a long distance spread and missed.

Frustrated, I returned home without a kill, expecting a Court martial. Instead, I got promoted
