Thanks for all the info. Unfortunately I do not have those options. It only gives me the option to move the screen up down or sideways to center it. Thanks for going to all the trouble. BTW I have an Acer 22" in case that has anything to do with the lack of controls that you have. I found all the instructions and details of what Nhancer does. Looks like a fun thing to experiment with regarding graphic quality.

Are your video drivers fully up to date? Older drivers won't have the same functions.

:hmm: just one more thing came to mind, I have my Samsung 22" hooked with an HDMI cable.
Don´t know if that makes any difference in how the driver "reads" the screen:hmm:
Do you use an VGA adapter?

Oh, and make sure to use the latest driver for your OS from nVidia.

Okay,

I hooked up the DVI cable and loaded the Acer Screen adjust Manager. All of my screen resolutions changed. Very high resolutions. The options in the Nvidia Control Panel now show the Flat Panel screen adjustments. I've been fooling with these controls all evening. The good thing is that I'm able to make lots of changes in the resolution and the screen size of my desk top. I've also been able to make the intro pages to the game come in square. When I go into the game it's full screen. I'm still messing with it. I have been able to make the screen resolutions in the game much higher and it's looks great. So good in fact that even if I can't get the flat screens to have round faces, I can live with it. The 3d images more than compensate. Explosions are brilliant. Yes, I've got the latest drivers for my video and sound card. If I ever get the black bars to come in on the sides I'll let you know. Many thanks for everyone's input. Most helpful. What a great web site !!

Good news ! I found out that if I changed the programed screen resolution in the d3d9 configure file to the same screen resolution as I have set in my windows display settings I get the black border's on the sides in the game. In order to get round buttons , dials ,etc. it needs to be about 1/2" wide. At least on my screen. A minor sacrifice which is not noticeable. I believe when I down loaded the new drivers for my video card I got a new program. I don't recall seeing it there before. It's called NVKeystone and when you hit the adjust button it brings up an overlay with arrows that you can move on top and bottom to reset the aspect ratio. Once you set it you can lock it. I tried to save it as a profile but that doesn't seem to work. Reason is , when I reboot the machine the desk top goes back to the original view. No big deal, I just right click , bring up the controls and it automatically sets everything back. Interesting thing is that when I play SH4 it covers the whole screen. This is probably because I have the screen resolution a tad higher in SH4 than my windows desktop. Anyway I found out how to make it work. No matter what you do , you have to have that screen resolution fix using that d3d9.dll. Thanks again for all the help. DVI, HDMI, why they make it so complicated I don't know. I just found out that Blu Ray doesn't play anything but Blu Ray, HD DVD's can only be played on HD DVD player's, and upgrading type DVD player's can only play regular DVD's. If someone wants to make a killing in the industry make one that does it all. In either case round is good.

Cheers
