Well periscope depth depends on the periscope length and size of the u-boat

300 meters was considered the optimum attack range. But the actual attack range was dictated by the circumstances. So shots from like 1800 meters away happened too.

I've found that periscope depth is usually somewhere around nine meters. Dive below that, raise the scope and slowly come up till it clears the waves. If it barely clears the water you can see your target just enough to use and they can't see you. The clue is when targets appear on the map your scope is exposed, so raise it from map view with the keypad and get the feel of it.

Angle of attack

Yes,

What about this angle of attack thingy? Is that where you lead the torps or is that a depth angle?

In manual targeting, is more the first. The depth of the torpedos, in the game, is set in the torpedos station (F4) and ranges from 2 to 6 m of depth. I think...

Hi,

scope depth varies with the different types of uboats:

Flotilla Petrol (U9) : 9.0 meters
Flotilla Diesel (U35) : 7.5 meters
UB-1 : 7.0 meters
UC-II : 8.0 meters
