It looks good but measuring the distance between the masts of ~200 ships would be kind of a pain
Slowly one by one it can be done. It's sure worth it

But more important would be in my opinion the heigth measure at various points (Funnel, bridge, kingpost....) :hmm:

The horizontal length measurements are at the same height of what their measuring. There looks to be 3 or 4 parallel measurements going across the ship and at the end is the height of each line. What I showed in the diagram is a simple demonstration.

One thing to keep in mind (here we go with the language again ) it's "Knoten" not "knotten"

this is definitely a must-have in progress

Those are looking so good! I'm especially liking the worn-looking paper. Be careful turning the pages or they might fall out!

Now that we are at it....the tab labelled "Kriegschiffe" should be "Kriegsschiffe", with two "s" and not just one

The beauty of the printable version is that it will also work for both SH3 & 4

Real great Stuff. I am German and thats real fun. Only correction from my side:

Any more updates on this project? - it looks awesome!

By the way:

good free .pdf editor
If you use MS Word, try CutePDF..it is free.

http://www.cutepdf.com/

How it works:

Once installed, open up MS Word and the document you wish to convert to pdf. When ready to convert, click on PRINT. When the print window opens, switch the printer to CutePDF and click OK.

It will start to compile and when close to being done, will pop-up a save window - choose your destination (I sound like a travel agent), save and a few moments later. Voila!

Cheers,

Also, openoffice lets you save any document as a PDF file, plus it's a free whole office software package, compatible with "the other" office suite, and lots of other stuff...
