Rudd has shortchanged pensioners and carers in his budget, made my life no better, my fiancees life no better, and our families' lives no better despite helping 'working families' and he's managed a record surplus. Now, rather than do anything useful, he wishes to implement garnaut's ideas which are terrible at best, and will cost us 'working families' a fortune. K Rudd, abberation in Australian politics.

If we're coming out of a mini ice age, then of course the earth will be warming up. That mini ice age was a "mistake" (brought about in part by the Krakatoa eruption) by the climate, which has been warming up since the last great ice age. The earth will keep warming up until it cools down again and hits another ice age, be it great or mini. Its common sense isnt it?

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

Oh lord.... here he goes again....
ya i no rite?

He could've posted this in one of the other 1000 threads on AGW, but oh no, he had to start (read: spam) yet another thread for maximum shock effect (read: annoyance). Really, I think these exceptionally informative and convincing points could all be made in one thread:

"I don't care if most scientists support AGW, science is not decided by committee!"
"I've found a list of tens of thousands of scientists with irrelevant or nonexistent degrees saying AGW is bunk, and since science is determined by committee, this proves AGW is a lie!"
"It's 20 years since someone said "global warming!" This calls for a thread!"
"If you believe in AGW, you are mentally ill!"

Siiiigh...

Actually, this entire forum is spam. GT is the place where we put the spam so it does not interfere with the purpose of this website; namely SUBMARINE SIMULATIONS.

I believe that he's commenting about the ungodly number of threads SUBMAN spams day in and day out.

Yes, and I'm commenting about the fact that you can say this about any number of members here, both on the right and left. Let's be fair.

EDIT: I checked, and there only seem, at the time of posting, to be three threads by SUBMAN1 on the front page. May I suggest that the view of the 'ungodly number' may be skewed due to the fact that you may or may not agree with his politics. I reiterate: Let us be fair. The last thing that anyone wants is a quota on thread creation, yes?

EDIT 2: Make that four, if you count the one about WWII small arms.

It would have had more impact if he cut a loud fart to punctuate it...

And even more so if he then lighted it

Edit: i also liked this bit after essentially describing Berlusconi (truthfully perhaps) as a notably corrupt leader

The White House apologised for what it called "sloppy work" and said an official had simply lifted the characterisation from the internet without reading it.
