Australia is part of the Asia Pacific Network (APN), so I don't see a problem with logging on via hk. Youtube is the one probably redirecting you. It looks at your IP and feeds you to the most relavant site based on your location. I might have a problem with HK though since its probably filtered!!! Ditch it if you can.
