I would love to have my 1969 Honda 350 back but riding it the way I want
is another story !! I really enjoyed running down a curvy 2 lane road about 40 mph with the wind in my hair BUT with traffic the way it is and the GA helmet law (you MUST have one) makes that impossible.....Ohhhh Wellll !!! JIM

You just can't beat the feel of that pulsating feeling when you mount her.....the bike I mean
Never went beyond the Honda CB500 Four myself, but appreciated the experience and the feeling of freedom you got on a warm summers day

Looks good, Neal! I'm still trying to get the money together to get my old '82 Kawi up and running again - I'm hoping to ride her down to the meet in October.

A great quote from Neil Armstrong, which I saw on a TV show about rollercoasters, of all things: "The only things that compare to flying a jet fighter are a good rollercoaster and a good motorcycle." And as for comparing bikes to women, I've always remembered this exchange from an old LA Law episode: Harry Hamlin shows up riding a brand-new hog. Susan Dey: "I've never seen you with something that powerful between your legs before." Harry Hamlin: "That's because I've never been on top of anything this responsive before!"

The demise of my last one...(we have "informal taxi's cruising our roads and the licences of their owners are just as informal, this guy decided he wanted to be on my side of the road, +- 85kph) i missed her a hell of a lot , now i recently got a new love, she's a bit rough around the edges but i'm giving her a major facelift... |

I love croch rockets better then the Harleys. Cruising is nice but blowing down the road on a sports bike is much more exhilarating!!! Nice bike Neal. Thunder, if you do not mind, when the face lift is done on that bike can you post some picks? Looks like a very fun project bike.

Ouch!!! After all of that and you still want to get up on your horse and ride? Please send your progress on the old BMW. I really like the style and looks of the older bikes.
