Default [help] IJN Campaign

I have a Japanese sub almost ready to go and was looking at adding Japanese port and a small (to start with-I'm new to modding) campaign to use this sub. But there are a few things I can't find. I know the flotilla.upc gives a base to go to if your's is disbanded, but these things I can't find.
1. what files determine when and where you are offered a transfer to another base?

2.what files determine when and which boat you are offered when offered a new sub?

3 where are the files for the 'office'?

Any help appreciated, I have a flotilla set up and working, but there's a lot more to learn. One step at a time, I guess that's the only way.

BTW, before anyone gets too excited, I built the sub on a Gato so it won't work in the German Campaigns. I didn't know things were going to head in that direction, I was just trying to learn some modding and some people were asking for a Japanese Campaign, so I thought I would try it out. Learned a lot in the process.

i cant help you but PM " lurker_hlb3 " he did a lot of campaign stuff for RSRDC and knows a lot about all that stuff.

with you being new to modding, you are starting with a tough mod job. ports and campaign stuff is not easy and involves a lot of files to go through, good luck with a tough mod.

What do you mean by "the gato can not work in the german campaign"?
I thought every sub class could potentially be used on both sides, if properly enabled.

However your idea for a japanese campaign is fantastic. No we will have something for the yamato mod as well!!

Good luck for your work!

I can make it Japanese but I don't know how yet (or even if it will work) to put German subs in Allied campaign or Allied subs in the German campaign. Which is why I made the comment, because the Yamato is built on a German sub and the Sen Toku is built on an American Gato. I'm just a beginner at this, so there is a whole lot I don't know!! But, doing it helps me learn, and gives me GREAT RESPECT for the modders. I see first hand the amount of work that goes into a great mod.

If it will work, I will have to figure it out or if someone has an answer, I'm all ears.
