It may lag or freeze momentarily in high TC (time compression) if you're close to a large convoy, aircraft or land. It happens to me sometimes when I'm at 1024 so I drop the tc to 1 & have a look around to see if anything is near me. Remember that your watch crew won't spot every single contact or threat. If there doesn't seem to be anything nearby, increase the time in increments (ie. 32, 64, 128, etc.) The "problem" should sort itself shortly & you can return to high tc. Maybe someone else has another idea but this is the only solution or workaround that I know of.
