It's still the best naval (ASW) simulator so far.
I've abandoned it in the past, but in the mean time I've realized that it's vastly moddable (in terms of gameplay: mission editor + platform doctrine) if you invest some time. Perhaps the 'problem' is, that the community has not the 'critical mass' in terms of number? That there aren't news from SCS is not helpful either.
