I still play fallout 1+2, planescape torment and jagged alliance, and they are still fun after all those years. After a short time I tend to forget that we are in 2008 and the graphics dont bother me any more.
Ah and Grand Prix Legends with newest updates/mods is still unsurpassed though it is 10 years old! Says a lot about the state of PC gaming imo.

It's really weird though to play Final Fantasy I and then load up FFXII. I guess it just goes to show how far games and machines have come over the years.
Kind of makes me wonder just what in the world we'll be playing,how we will be playing it and what it will look like 10 years from now. |

Oh,was playing the original DragonWarrior game and my cousin's girlfriend's daughter walked into the room and wanted to know what that "crud" was that I was playing...She never saw a game system older than the ps2 before...lol

Many old games are great becasue they were actually trying to make a good game, instead of "what would sell"
I still have a semi-working NES somewhere...hmm... *Walks off to play Frontier: Elite 2*
