Yes. I would like to talk with Thomsen. For example about sounds Snorkel Up-Down. They are not present in SH3. But they are necessary!
I have made these sounds. Half a year ago. But could not connect to software SH3. To me promised help Rancerboy. But he was gone.
Yes. I would like to talk with Thomsen. But it is the Big Master. We are not familiar. I am confused.

There are some very nice sounds in your mod! Certainly a professionals work I will certainly add some to my game.

But why did you add echo to some of the sound files? The boats are crowded with equipment, provisions and men, so you won't hear any echo. I can only say this for a Type VII (U-995 in Laboe), but I guess it's the same for all boats.

In case you are remixing the sound some time, I would suggest to take out "jawohl herr kapitän!", like nippelspanner already said.

If you need help with translations or are lacking some german words, you can PM me.

Regards,
Mr. Fleck

Thanks. It is pleasant to hear these words from Germany. Why an echo? Yes, certainly in one compartment of an echo will not be (for example the Central Post or a compartment of torpedos). But between compartments the crew spoke using communication pipes. Hollow metal tubes. Therefore there will be a sound of a voice having such reverberation. So. If hatches between compartments are opened all. You are on Central Post. To you shout from last back compartment. You will hear a sound of reverberation. Even if all submarine is loaded by cotton wool.

About "jawohl herr kapitДn!". Please, I will clean it. But on submarines there were young guys. Not robots. For fun they could speak: "Captain", "Corsair", "Boss", "Father", " the Old old salt " and other...

Certainly, the help is necessary to me. Thanks. Give we shall make other files "Sounds of Engine Order" (clean "jawohl herr kapitДn!") and "Periscope depth". For the beginning. The present German voice will be necessary to me. I shall write to you PM.

I bet my a** - never ever they did this. At least not when confirming an order. they drilled this till perfection. the Marineakademie was for sure one of the hardest and most professional of its time. Kretschmer confirmed this in an interview and said that this paid off in the results during the war.

regarding the echoes. i noticed them too. often theys dont fit in place and have nothing to do with the pipes used for communications because the echoes are also inside the .wav files...

you will get a more precise review of your work soon, i have no time now. but i thought it could be useful for you and you could fix a few things in the next release?

I agree. You have won a bet. To joke it is possible only after battle. When I was very young guy I was on military service in group of confidential communication in deserts of the Central Asia. Against China. To joke there was no time. I have already forgotten it.

Certainly. I wish to change not correct files. Your help is necessary.
And if to me will help Mr. Fleck it will be the present German speech.
