need help with reinstall- I've had way too many CTD's

lately so I thought a clean reinstall would be the way to go-
here are my mods

SHIII v 1.4 patch
GWX 2.1
Uboat 1.2
SH3 commander
new Racerboy SH4 for SH3 for GWX2.1
various add on ships (von dos, etc)

how can I reinstall without losing my current career ???

I believe that if you save a copy of your career folder which was created in 'my documents' (labelled SH3 - normally) befire removing SH3 then do you reinstalls and re-activate your mods then copy the saved folder back over the new one in 'my documents', you should be alright.

Don't forget to totally eliminate your SH3 stuff after uninstalling and before attempting to re-install. SH3 gets very annoyed if you leave bits in the registry etc.

when you save your career folder, be safe and name it something unrelated to SH3.

Does that make sense?

No doubt cleverer Kaleuns will correct me if I'm wrong.
