However, unlike Democrat Superdelegates, Suprime Court Judges are not elected to represent the party at a convention, nor are they limited to choosing between Republican Candidates. In 2000, the Republicans actually decided between a Democrat and a Republican, nominating the candidate with the least votes to bypass the election and become President.

Shall we really open up this can of worms?

Read into the electoral college before my head explodes with - "the candidate should win who won the popular vote."
