This guy says it all:

Quote:
"Barack Obama was caught saying something he believes . . .

"He was retailing an article of left-wing orthodoxy going back centuries: that the working class is distracted by religion and other peripheral concerns from focusing on its economic interests and embracing socialism . . .

You mean Obama says something that's true, and the public suddenly hates him? Jesus, Americans do more to sabotage their own political climate than any "enemy" they've ever had, real or manufactured. Americans literally just want their Presidents to be a bunch of head nodding yes men. Scary stuff for a country that maintains the world's most obscenely over powered military. And anyone who criticizes them is just ignorant lolamirite?

Itsw a simple case of the people wanting the president to support their views, not to crticize them. That's essentially what he said - he made them feel irrational for clinging to guns and religion, a staple of the the American way of life. Not quite the man you want representing you.

Hehe, I'd say they cling to the right to bear arms, but that probably goes for the majority of US Americans.

Ugh... Needless to say the family already has begun to burry weapons for the 'just in case' plan.... Thia man is pure evil... something I though of Hillary before he came along... The scary thing is the ammount of support he had from people whom do not know about what his real stances on the issues are...I do love the fact that Hillary came out with the add about those offended in the Pennysilvania area by what he said. Hopefully Hillary can drag them both down enough for poor old Johnny M. to pull out something... Although I would have perfered to see the ROMNEY-MCCAIN ticket, or the ROMNEY-NORRIS ticket(lol political roundhouse)..."There will be dark days ahead..."PS. it will be hella interesting to see the Supreme Court's Ruling on the DC handgun ban as well... This year will make or break America... which we have yet to see.

It does seem to be one of the few, if not only, ammendment in the Bill of Rights that people will bother defending. But that's off topic I suppose...
