it was removed.

the devs thought that having the "tail" on the contact made it far too easy to determine an intercept course for contact reported convoys etc.

there is a mod to reinstate the tail mate...

do a search

but you do get used to it....i think it was a smart move by the gwx team..
mutch more realistic....your choice tho
