Doesn't do anything for me if you're trying to make a WWII-era torpedo texture.

I have done some recolourising of the torps, supposed to be historical, however I encountered some problems. Mk10 and Mk18 use the same skin Torpedo15.tga and trying to move it to another skin or adding a seperate node for a new skin doesnt work, in game they appear without the skin. Very odd. However I could change the Mk23 to use another skin...?

If you create new identifiers per the "adding a new ship/boat tutorial", you should be able to make any skin file that you want to.

That didn't work for me... can you upload the Torpedo_US.dat file for me somewhere, if that is ok, I'll try and work out what you did differently, but I couldn't see where I was going wrong before.

Here is the torp.data file for those that want to have the textures different of the mk10 and mk18. The mk10 have there own slot all you have to do is copy the textures of the Torpedo15.dds and the Torpedo15_01.dds file and rename them to Torpedo10.dds and Torpedo10_01.dds. Then you can modify the textures to your style. The mk18 torpedoes still use the Torpedo15 textures.

Thanks Mani... I will have a look and try and work out how you did it. The Mk27 and Mk16 also use the same skin, though very different models, I'll see if I can fix that...
