Default Keep ending up on SubSim

Good evening to all the Skippers here,

Sinds i'm new to this SH forum i'll start of by saying hi first

Hi!

Now that the formality's are out of the way here's te reason for me posting here. I have been playing SH4 for a couple of month's now and realy enjoy the game a lot. So mutch that i've bought the u-boats add-on as well. I'm running the TMO mod as wel and i'm crazy about it. There is just one mod that i have been trying to get to go with it, and that's the clear wather mod for visibiliy under wather.

Now aparently there's a problem with the compatibility of the mod and the upgrade to patch 1.5 since it does not seem to work anymore. I managed to get the mini tweeker but can't figure out how to decrease the amount of "floaters" and increase the clarity.

Since on many ocasions and for many mod's i get redirected to this site i thought this might be the place to post a request for some help on increasing underwather visibility and letting me get my beloved underwather screeny's again.

I hope someone can help me out on this problem, in any case i'd like to thank all of you for reading the post at least.

Hmm, one question. Am i posting in the right forum or do i need to add this post to an other room on subsim? Not quite sure how things run over here since i'm usualy on the Ubi site. But if someone can tell me this i would realy apreciate this.

Honestly, i realy find it verry anoying to have my bow fade away in the murky wather when my camera viewpoint is only at the aft. ..

If you want to delete them entirely then follow this path Data---> Misc and look for impurity.dds and delete it.

WELCOME WHISPERER!
You might also want to visit the mods forum and see what you can dig up. Use the search function over there and I bet you'll find something.

Well, this is how we used to play in the past with version 1.0 and patch 1.1:

Well, we all have moved on and patched to version 1.4 and/or 1.5 Fake U-Boat in the Pacific. Regardless. We are all are now smelling like a Pacific Based Goats as seen here:

In Russia, they play this current version of Silent Hunter 4:

But, here is what make the game worth it. This is why I play it. Damn good flick:

Could someone tell RR to stop using ultra large texts please. I know mama told me I'd go blind if I continue doing that thing with me ding-a-ling but I can still see...kinda.

Oh, Welcome to Subsim!

Thanks for the warm welcome and the many replies. First off, let me thank Monica Lewinsky for the exelent links on the Das Boot and the link to the SH4 movie. I think i have seen all of them ever since i have started playing SH4 over half a year ago. Again i ended up watching youtube for far to long...:hmm:

@ Rocking Robbins. Thank you for the big hello, i would thank you in a suited maner where it not that i'm still catching my breath getting over that welcome of yours!

@ Kapitan Phillips. Thank you for the welcome and if youvare the one that created these vid's may i suggest considering a directors cut. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would be extatic about seeing this hapen, including myselve!

@ DavyJonesFootlocker. Don't worry about your problem, i don't. Just make sure you compensate with a lot of carrots!

@ Miner1436, Thanks for the lead on the floaters! if it should turn out to be impossible to get them reduced this will definatly be the suggestion i have been looking for.

As for all of you, thank you verry mutch. I have been hesitant on joining this Forum as well since most of the great mod makers have made this place their home base. Somhow this is kind of intimidating since my programming gene's where left undeveloped since the last ice age,....

Anyway, judging from your welcome i think it might actualy be a good thing to post this request in the workshop. Thanks you all!

I keep wondering why you guys call it 'floaters'. In my corner of the pond 'floaters' mean something else.:rotfl::rotfl:

You'll find a bunch of jolly, drunk, smelly sailors here. But enough about the moderators. I'd consider the carrots but I'm a born again carnivore.

So if i see i bunch of you guy's jump in a ditch, i'll just folow you in! Hmm,... that reminds me of a game called lemmings i used to have.:hmm:
