I have always thought it would be a nice feature when doing rescues for the survivors when picked up to have thier own icons in the crew screen, maybe with stats on thier names, ranks, conditions, jobs (pilot, gunner, etc) that would remain until landfall or refit...I know I have picked up as many as 10 in one instance...and to have thier rescues mentioned in the log...
I am aware this is likely not possible...but if wishes were horses I'd like to see this nag run. |

Sounds cool to me. Back when I played SH1, whenever I picked up downed pilots I would imagine their views of the strange world of the submarine, and think of the captain giving them a tour of the boat and explaining operations aboard.

You ever wondered where they place all those survivors? In an empty torpedo tube of course! In fact they come in handy when you run out of torps. You know how much damage a Naval Aviator can do to a merchant at 35 knots? Air Force pilots can sink an escort carrier in one shot!

I use them as target practice for my deck gunning skills.
