Well, the last time I played the FFG (which was today), I was at ahead flank (29kts) to compensate for the strong wind. It was at sea state 5, with the winds at about 29kts with no gusts over 3kts. The Perry was moving in a straight line.

Just for the record, I did not literally mean "every time I played the FFG." It's just that through my occaisional FFG usage, it has happened every time for the last three times. I hope this makes even remote sense...

I admit, I only play the FFG very occaisionally, so that probably why I see it so often.

The odd thing is the inbound helo goes for a missed approach maneuver right before it gets centered over the landing deck. Once it does the maneuver, the FFG stops instantly (emphasis added), then slowly sinks as if it was taking on water.

This is very wierd.
Generally I play in the frigate in multiplayer/multistation and I've never had the helo crash on returning to base.
It takes tens of minute for the approach and final landing but no collision.
I use dw 1.04 + latest version of lwami
Odd. In my last multiplayer game, I was in a MH-60 landing on a player controlled FFG. The FFG sunk.

Another thing is that when I tried to land on my "base" FFG, the helo did a missed approach but the FFG did not sink.
