The torpedo in the original pic looks a bit like a missle, but for the sake of consistency I kept it the same.

A gif file and a jpeg file. Not sure which works best when it comes to targa file conversion.

It seems like .gif´s works best when converting to .tga´s.
Of course it was pitch dark but heres a quick look at it in game.

The original black & white art is rather sketchy and vague in parts, so I did the best interpretation I could..

The result is a vaguely threatening gentleman in a homburg with an umbrella. On well. Good luck!

Nice! I probably should have dispensed with the drop shadow on him, but he looks pretty good overall.

Hopefully you'll have far better luck than the real U-53 (only three patrols!

)

That's one thing I miss in SH4. Conning tower emblems.
