The torpedo trail and wake fix mod changes the following:
1) For electric torpedoes, the bubble trail that the stock electric torpedoes --TII (G7e), TIII (G7e), TIII FATII (G7e), TIII LuTII (G7e), TIV (G7es), TV (G7es) and TXI (G7es)-- leave behind have been changed to a quickly fading, barely visible cavitation trail only. 2) For gas/steam torpedoes, they now leave a slightly thicker, slightly longer-lasting underwater bubble trail, while on the surface they now leave a quite long and very visible wake that lasts around 30 seconds. This mod *should* be compatible with every variation/mod of SHIII, from just the stock, patched game up through all the other mods. After unzipping, either copy/paste the torpedo trail and wake fix mod in the MODS folder of your appropriate game folder, or just copy and paste the file direct into your Data/Library folder (first backing up the original file first, of course!) I have no "conflict" with anything.... if OLC has modified the .dat... it is not within the GUI I use.
and honestly I have not seen much of the torps lately... ![]() ![]() will have to take some closer looks from now when I release my eels
