exporting to SH3 is driving me *^%*)*&^. Popping a red parachute flare

my uboat 31 class model hull, 3500 polys 82 bverts

the 9b where I attemted to replace,, 5oo polys and 4500 verts ,, loads and shows once,, then crashed

replaced the type IIa, 5500 polys and 4500 verts works like a champ each and every time,, however I need tow aft and two forward tubes, and the type II's are the home of my UB-1 class boats.

so ,, logic dictated to be,, the type IXD2 and its 9000 poly, 6500 verts would accept it since the IIA did so well, nope crashed outright again.

what is it that makes the Type II's run nearly any model.

can the type II be cloned with an id number change to a 9d2 slot or something and extra tubes be added since it is so versitile. or am I fighting a losing battle?
