I downloaded nhancer, installed OLC environment, applied all the settings you recommended and got those strange squares when i view my boat from certain angles:
 It's always there, but the effect is best seen in heavy seas. Any idea what causes this? BTW i got a geforce 7900 GTO with the latest nvidia drivers.
