starting a career before 1939

With the newest SH3 Commander Release, 3.0, I found out that you could start before september 1, 1939. Does anyone know where I can find the mod that enables you to do this?

AFAIK there is no stand alone mod
LSH3 has that ability as will WAC 3.0
It has also been added to GWX 2.1 when released

That's a relief. Doing pre-war patrols sounds like fun, and being one of the 14 u-boats being on station at the outbreak of war is cool, but changing everything to make it happen? Well, I'm not quite that competent.

On the same note continuing a campaign after the surrender in 1945 would be fun. Would really pave the way for a possible Cold War mod!

I am working on a wwi modification to SHIII

I have not yet ventured into the dates issue yet
could you tell me what file is needed to be changed to have the war start and stop on the correct wwi dates???

Let's see.

ALL unit cfg, eqp, and sns files.
ALL Flotilla files.
ALL Campaign files.

Probably basic.cfg

and others I'm sure.

Plus,
Aircraft need replaced.
Some Ships dropped and new ones added.

Just wondering if there was a central core file that says in essence,, start game at this date,, end on this date,, a counter type file
