yeah i thought i was bad dropping 130 on a radeon 2600xt it runs SH4 easy at 50 fps in the open clear ocean with everything on (except post filters) but AA makes it fuzzy ans kills my frames to 25 or 30!!! ARRRRGGG!

That'll probably get fixed when the drivers for the 2600 series matures, Gimpy. Those cards are still relatively new. Either that, or you need to do some more tweaking with the settings in the Catalyst Control Center.

Default GT vs GTS

I don't think NVIDIA released 1Gb GT card... GT is 512mb. And this is more then enoph for SH4, GT rocks !! Check the card specs again and check nvidia.com.

GTS/512mb is the "old" fellow (a previous GTS fix) and is better CPU then GT for bigger screens and FPS eating games. If you have the money, get the GTS.

8800GTS 512 is my recommendation and preferably a manufacturer that offers a trade up/ step up program when the new 9800's come out at the end of this month/early april.
