It's the electron transport charge
It's all very logical. Ubi is a French company. They manufacture the electrons there and ship them overseas to the US. If you want to purchase the download they have to be returned to Europe, where the electron transport charge from the US makes the download more expensive.
 Would you believe global warming? How about it's George Bush's fault.  No, huh?
