I had a complaint with vanilla 1.4 that has been fixed in 1.5:
I used to travel to ports (like Japan, for example) and the ships that I'd "detect" would stay loaded in memory long after I left said port. Which would then make my return trip home almost unbearable due to the TC lag and stutter. With 1.5, I am regularly attacking Freemantle (and other Aussie ports) with no lag on the return trip. That alone is worth my 10 bucks.
