No mods or a pirate it was straight out the box and installed over silent hunter 4 patched to 1.4. I'm sorry of the way I worded it earlier it dosen't happen everytime I submerge but its happened three times out of four patrols. Best see if anyone else gets a similar problem or have I gone mad.

I am assuming when he blows up he starts a new patrol (hence the blew up 3 times and is now on 4th patrol

Played it for 2 days. never had this problem here. Strange one.
But i did a clean install and installed u-boat mission after that...no patches between.

Hi all,

I've got the same problem....I usually save the game when surfaced but may have saved the game when I was at 25- to 30 ft depth. I did not think it would matter though.
