Thanks, Kpt.!
I've reinstalled GWX and work fine, but if i add too many ships, the work crash some times.. Can this a double-id problem? Or is my pc slow? :hmm:

I have a laptop with similar specs to your computer. I have an ATI graphics card that shares memory with the 1.2gig main memory.
I was having intermittent crashes to blue screen when exiting SH3 from main menu. I now use WinCleaner (a free download) prior to exiting and have not had a crash to date. I determined that SH3 was sometime using aprroximately 100% of the free memory, so there became a conflict with the graphics card when exiting and a resulting crash. Using WinCleaner while playing game will cause some interference with the game as it tries to optimize memory. So, I disable WinCleaner by unchecking two boxes on the configuration page while I play SH3. Prior to exiting SH3, I Alt+Tab to minimize SH3, manually optimize & boost memory with WinCleaner and recheck the two boxes I previously mentioned so that WinCleaner functions normally in the background all the rest of the time. (There is a very useful graph so you can tell when you've optimized memory to the maximum.) Bring SH3 up and exit normally. If your crash occurs at time of saving, you might try running WinCleaner prior to the save. The WinCleaner graph will let you know if there is a low memory problem so you can manually boost and optimize your memory. I hope this is helpful. |
