I don't play Sh4 any more, but when I did I liked TM.

Default With apologies to swdw

I've been incorrigibly loyal to TM so far, in spite of all the great stuff I've seen with RFB. My motivation right now is to finish the war with Kraken on my present career. I do have RFB's new real deck gun installed (it ROCKS!!!!!!) and I'll go to a dual installation at the end of my career to give RFB the trial it deserves.

I was an RGB only guy when Beery abandoned it. I chose TM out of desparation and was ready to hate it for not being realistic. Instead I found that unrealistic gameplay can lead to much MORE realistic player behavior and much more rewarding experience. I credit TM and WernerSobe's targeting tutorial videos for my continuing interest in SH4.

Somewhere in all that I've got to go back to the SH3 world and give GWX 2 a shot. That game still has a lot of legs left in it.

I run both, we are blessed with big Hard Drives so no sense in not enjoying both. When the addon comes out then that will be a third install, thanks to MultiSH4! So enjoy it all!

Right on Bro. But I'm still trying to figure out what to do with 2 Terrabytes of Hard Drive space.

I also foresee a triple install in the very near future.
I've read the changes in both "Super Mods" in depth, and doubt I'll be able to actually proclaim one as being "superior".
I've only just gotten to the point of adding ROW and RSRDC to the stock 1.4, in hopes of getting a good grasp of stock play so as to have a good foundation to form an opinion.
Thanks to all the great modders out there who have spent so very many hours tweaking and testing to improve the enjoyment of the sims we so greatly love.

I clicked on number 3. I decided on RFB because Swdw picked up were Beery left off. Being the Swdw was new to the community, I decided to support his efforts and help bolster new modding talent. It is a win/win situation. Swdw (along with LukeFF and some others) RFB is really coming around. The next release is going to have some very cool stuff. Fortunate for us, Swdw leaks out a mod or two for others to play with. More recently, sub draft mod. Huge improvement on sub physics.

Up until now I have played Trigger, but am seriously leaning towards giving RFB a shot. There is some great ongoing work being done on it here at SUBSIM. I think I will hold off for the next release. When it happens I plan to give it a go.

I'll return to RFB as soon as the new and improved version comes out. Erm, when will that be btw?

Like many of you, I'm a Trigger man, but am getting anxious to try RFB, if only for a little variety. What's the biggest difference anyway? For those of you that made the switch, what did you like most about RFB, and what did you miss most from TM?

No vote here... The new Version of RFB is slowly drawing my attention, never tried TM. Love RSRD, but it's the only one I have tried, so hardly surprising.

If you read the change lists in each of them, they all offer something the others do not. Anyway, RFB is got so much going on atm, this poll would have different attributations once it is released. None of these poll options reflect the appreciation each of these mods inspires either. It's hardly going to be black or white.
