i wasnt quite sure what order to activate them in
With JSGME it doesn't matter as you will get a warning if there is a clash & manually doesn't matter with these mods, just don't mix 8k & 16k.

Improved Wave Textures in GWX 2 as they have a similar version of this mod, I actually thought they were the same but after some comparing tests they are not!

Would they still have some visible affect in 2.0 as they are not the same. Or do they just do the same thing 2.0 already does.

There is a difference, but I don't dare say which is better, you will have to see for yourself, I think it will boil down to personal preference.

I love this mod, it makes the ocean look soooo much better, but I still think the 16km version is too hazy on the horizon. Is there a way that I can decrease the haze somewhat?

Unfortunitely I can't suggest any help, I only use the 8k version & I mentioned in earlier posts that it is untested. Do you have this problem with this mod or did it exist before? If so maybe someone else can offer suggestions.

Works fine. It seems to make the foam (2.0) much more visble and slightly richer.

The GWX team are always conscious of performance hits. Their wave textures are low resolution so that people with low-spec machines can still play. Mine are very high resolution which will cause a performance hit on some machines especially if high AF is enabled, but it makes them more crisp.

OLC,
I understand your point... but this is Feb2008, so with a present low end standard PC - there should not be FPS drops with your sea textures... (Huge explosions are different)

By western PC standards, 2G of RAM should be a basic multimedia rig, let alone 4G RAM gaming PC's that kids are buying this year...

My point is: We can not keep up with SH4 visuals - with a hardware graveyard from the time of SH3 market release...

Ok, so let me get this right. The SH4 effects for SH3 mod doesn't work with a 16km mod?
