So unorigional you wonder if they are trying to be post-ironic.

A tradgedy, but not a shocking one anymore.
As I said last time, there is no reason to think this won't happen again next week and
every reason to belive it will happen again soon.

if the 2nd ammendment was respected and the damn government wasnt so PC about it, there would have been a student with a concealed and carry permit and caryying a concealed handgun, who then most likely would have saved those lives by placeing a few well placed shots to the shooters chest.. but nooooooo they have to outright ban guns fro muniversity campuses.. its like, your hunting deer, you might as well make them blind and deaf...

fyi there hasnt been a single recording of a crime commited by person with a Concealed and carry permit :hmm:

The guns being banned from the university didn't stop the shooter from doing it. Even if someone had a weapon in one of those classes, he still would've shot at least 5 of them before he met his demise.

Don't get me wrong...I'm for the 2nd!

We'll find out more as the news will be interviewing their own experts as to why he carried a shot gun to the campus.

rather 5 then 18 then again even 1 is bad, id rather see students armed going to school.. or at least security with assault rifles or some decent weapons rather then some crappy baton and a flashlight... plus if everyone knew guns are allowed on campus who has the balls to try to kill armed students in a university???

Try lack of the second amendment. These schools violate peoples rights to the second amendment and deny all firearms on campus. The result? Crazies know this and take their shooting rampage there because they know that no one will shoot back at them and they can do the most damage for the biggest headlines and whatever else they think they can get.

These rules of gun free zones need to be stopped.

Shopping malls typically have gun free zones so that is the other place these crazies like to go.

Not exactly. Look at the perpetrators, almost always students or former students.

In Universities, yes. This is because the students know the layout and exactly where they are going.

Mall crazies typically are non U students using this same logic.

THey go where they are familiar and not challenged.

Most of the time, any suicide note/video left behind mentions other students, or the motive for the shooting is bound up in the killers' experiences at the school/university. I doubt the choice of location is entirely due to it being a gun-free zone.
