Default Enigma-coded radio messages from BdU - grade of possibility?

I was just playing around with the freeware "Enigma Simulator 6.4" by D. Rijmenants (which is announced fully compatible with the original Enigma *hrhr*) and wondered...

if it is, in any way, possible to encrypt as much as possible the radio traffic received by the BdU.

My _guess_ is that everything dynamic (numbers, coordinates) is untouchable due to game engine access restrictions, so I start this thread more out of curiosity and hope than of realistic expectations. Having just found my way with a slightly easier makeshift adaptation of vanjast's Real Navigation in combination with GWX2+OLC (I use the "plot course" capabilities, but only for near-base navigation and plan to simulate shooting stars in times of clear skies by using Ctrl+click on the map to fix my position), I feel cravings for even more realism. And I feel like adding Enigma would be well worth a Kaleu's wet dream...

it would be a nice touch for the realism of the mod/game, but isnt this going to be hard for any 'freshman' of the game.
dont understand me wrong but dont u need to include an enigma machine to decypher the messages that are send to u? cause how could u know what those messages mean?

ps: sry for typo's

Yes, it is possible, but a HUGE job. I tried this once and at the time I had coded 5 msgs it had took me almost 2 hours.

Actually you will need to encrypt all the messages. If you wish to have them realistic, you also should change wire/wheels position on Enigma each 3 weeks)) But idea is good - pressing alt-tab, de-cyphering message.
It can be good only if messages will be connected with reality more tightly. Now to decrypt every message about "U-*** sunk a ship and going to base" may be abusive. They are abusive when non-encrypted sometimes.
Try to create a mission with some encrypted messages in it. It will be quite enough to play around enigma simulator.
PS: I also have this program. Nice GUI I should admit, and built-in "museum". I also have russian cyphering machine FIALKA simulator (enigma-based post-war cyphrator).

About the huge job, yes... I was just thinking loud when starting this thread. In-Game, an Enigma would me almost completely impossible, but using Alt-Tab and the Enigma Simulator would spare that work.

I wasn't addressing freshmen at all here :P

Hm... maybe reduce key changes to a simplified set for wartime and let a script work over all messages?
But you're right... encrypting all those annoying September 1939 messages would be more a job for real-time players
