Since FileFront has a fart caught cross ways this morning.

I thought I'd say thank's Lurker for your exceptional work. Your attention to ship details are wonderful, I just love the color of the Jap CV Hiyo. I'm looking foward to seeing your newest creations. Of course your missions are extremely detailed as well, which proves a meticulous work ethic. Job well done!!!!

Lurker,
I have to agree with CaptnScurvy about your attention to detail. RSRD is one of the main mods that has been made for silent hunter.

You have truly made this game worth playing for a VERY long time.

The Best to you in your future endeavors -
hopefully modding some more down the line.

Awesome work - can't wait to start a new career with this one. I really enjoyed the earlier versions. Thanks for sticking with this

I hope your retirement is a happy but short one, and that after some time off enjoying the game we'll see you back at "work" again

Lurker

Just wanted to say how great RSRD Phase III is I've really been having a great time with it. Fantastic work, and it is much appreciated You should go play your campaign yourself for a long while now. It's really fun.

Just a quick question about SHIV/TM1.7.6/RSRDC_P3_TM_v320 for TM176. I started a new career in December, 1942 and in three patrols progressing into May, 1943 all I have seen besides plenty of aircraft is single merchants sailing. I've not seen one warship (destroyer or otherwise). Is this supposed to be the way it is or is it possible that I have something installed wrong using the JSGME? Also wondering about airplane contacts in the middle of the night. I was not aware that the Japanese could fly their planes at night in late 1942 and early '43.

thanks for your hard work Lurker, SH4 is a far better game now than what it originally was released form Ubisoft.

Have a good retirement and play the game for a bit.

From first post in RSRD sticky thread:

"RSRDC Phase III is a Rollup of all changes to RSRDC since release. “DO NOT” use “ANY” Phase I or II versions with this mod or you are going to get a CTD. Save games from Phase II “should work” with Phase III. If you use RDRDC Patrol V100, please deinstall, as it is now part of Phase III. "

Uninstalled the game, ran crapcleaner, rebooted, installed the game again, applyed the patch 1.4.

The game runs normally, did a test run.

Installed RSRDC_P3_v300 with JSGME.

Started the game and took a shot at career with these options:

March 28th 1945
Taskforce 42/72
Balao
Normal
7000

...and when I hit the "Proceed" button the game crashes.

Anyone else has this problem?

Probably my XP is getting iffy.
