#2 simply because the bow was getting water over it. This effect looks natural. The roll seems good with this one as well.

#2 rode the wave good with good wave breaching, yet#3 rolled more to the waves.

I can't decide between 2 & 3 so i'll say both I liked 3 slightly better cause it rolled alot - but both are equal in goodness, if that made sense...

I tried wanting 2 but I have to go with 3....and I still don't think the sea state is rough enough. Is that really the worst the sea gets in the game ? Compared to SH3 Atlantic Sea its, well, a bit tame.

Yeah but in SH3 all it is, is choppiness, the rougher it gets the more choppy, SH4 has more a wave motion but it too isn't right a bit better but nowhere near perfect. What we need is HUGE rolling waves when its rough, one huge wave after the other and our boats hits each wave with such an impact that we should see the odd vomit hit our screens from time to time . Also the boats ride the wave like in Das boot during that storm we need waves like this! Yet im sure it would of been done by some modder bynow so my guess is it cannot be done this way.

One such game that did it well in the wave motion was a Sailing game of 2006 forgot the name but the waves were spot on. As the wind got up the waves turned into what any sailor would dread.
