So, for any who care to respond, do you have a stock distance from the target where you submerge? Oh, another question dealing with crew management. I see there are, I think, 6 basic operations areas on the boat. And see with the default management setup, 5 or 6 officers. Would it be advantagous to scrap-out and recruit officers with skills/abilities to cover the 6 different areas?

![]() Note my range to target on the TDC. I was hull down at 7kts. I was not detected until my torps got within 300 yards or so of the cruiser. Note the white bow wake on the left. It can be done. Not to mention, this was a task force. Daylight surface attack is a crap shoot. ya gonna get nailed. The night time is the right time for surface/deck awash attacks. I'm just a crack'in sub Capt'in!
