Iceberg modding problem "help needed".

I have re-textured all icebergs to be compatible with GWX 2.0. I have a major problem which is holding up the delivery process to you.

When I try to repackage the files back to DAT format I using the "DatTexExtract" Application I get an error as follows;

"Import failed: wrong colour depth [32 bits]".

I have reduced the colour depth down to 16 bits and even went 2 bits, having change it to grey scale and copied and paste into selection etc etc.

I am at a loss as I have re textured many things since I became a modder and for some reason this is causing me to head butt the wall many times

I had errors like that when I was using a skin packer, it usually meant that the the image had to be that color depth. Have you tried putting it in as 32 bits?

Just worked for me.

Ven, what did you do? Create a brand new TGA or edit the extracted version?

The image must be 1024 x 512, 16 bit and RGB 8.

Also, take note, the file name has a odd space in it - iceberg3 .tga

Who evented the Alpha Channel ?

Who is responsible

Own up

This thread is now done with Danlisa pointing out my blunder in not noticing that the Alpha Channel was the cause.

Thats a Saturday that I wont be getting back in a hurry

Danlisa thank you mate; now I've got forward progress

Ven, I have to go do some RL stuff.

If you're still having trouble, send me the files and I'll pack them later.
