Never knew the man, never corresponded with him, but he paid enough attention to things to notice it was my birthday, and he took a moment out of his day to send a greeting. I have said this before, he was a genius disguised as a regular guy. He changed the face of SH4, at the same time helped whoever needed it, from the veteran members here, to the folks just arriving.

Thanks for sharing your story, it brought a smile to my face, another great memory of Dave
