How long have you been in IT that you could afford a plane? I've always wished to take flying lessons. While in the sub force, I had this career vision of seeing all sides of sonar...you know...serving on a tin can, fast attack, and finally either a S-3 or SH-60. This was in '95...so keep that in mind for the S-3.

Most people don't realize that if you live below your means, you can afford such items even on a modest salary. Most people are in such debt these days that they think debt is normal, but debt is what is simply holding them back from whatever it is you want. What they don't realize, making many millions is easy if you put your money to work for you and not to work for someone else.
So the point is, keep debt and you finance your bankers Ferrari. Leave debt, and you should easily be able to afford your own, regardless your income. Instead of paying 12% interest on that credit card, get yourself a mutual fund and make 12% to 14% yourself instead. Anyway, aircraft, including this one (not the one pictured) have been in my family for since I have been alive. This one was typically kept around as a toy mostly since the twin was usually used for travel purposes (has 1200 nmi range, full deice for all weather flying, 30K foot ceiling, etc.). -S |
